Harris County Emergency Services District 48 Fire and EMS along with our Katy area public safety partners are proud to announce the Third Annual Katy Area Safety Fest hosted by Typhoon Texas. This year’s event will be held from 10a.m. – 2p.m. Saturday, April 14th, 2018, 555 S. Katy Fort Bend Rd, Katy, TX 77494. The Katy Area Safety Fest is free to the public and will feature personnel, equipment, and apparatus from the 20+ agencies and over 40+ sponsors and non-profit organizations that serve the greater Katy area.
“We are excited to host the Katy Area Safety Fest because Typhoon Texas is all about safety and community and this event is a fun, family-friendly opportunity to bring Katy area residents together to learn how we can partner with our first responders to help build a safer community ”, said Evan Barnett, GM for Typhoon Texas.
The Safety Festival’s purpose is to familiarize residents with the men and women who serve the greater Katy area, as well as the daily tasks of various agencies that protect the community through a variety of fun, educational, and high-energy activities.
